Who is responsible

The data controller is Kontrolltechnik, a company in the United Kingdom. The website is kontrolltechnik.co.uk. For anything on this list, email hello@pointcert.com. A postal address is available on request to that address. This notice does not invent a registered office.

What we collect

If you join the waiting list we store:

• your email address, which is required
• your name, company, role, and team size, if you give them
• what you use for point-to-point commissioning now, if you write it
• the time you signed up, and that you ticked the consent box

We do not ask for a phone number, a client’s project files, or payment details on this site. We do not store your IP address with the signup.

Why

The only purpose is to email you about PointCert early access, including early-access pricing for people on this list. We do not sell the list, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

The lawful basis is your consent, UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a). You can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we lawfully did before you withdrew it.

Where it is kept

Signups are stored as private files on the site’s host, Vercel (Vercel Blob), when the site is deployed there. Vercel may process that data outside the United Kingdom. The files are not public. A local development copy of this site may instead keep them in a folder on that machine, and that copy is not the public waiting list.

We keep the details until you ask us to delete them, or until the waiting list has served its purpose and we no longer need them to contact early-access members. If you ask us to delete them, we will.

Unsubscribe or deletion

Email hello@pointcert.com and say you want to unsubscribe, or that you want your details deleted. Use the same address you signed up with if you can. We will do it, and we will confirm.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you
• correct it
• delete it
• stop using it, which for this list means we delete it or stop emailing you
• give you a copy

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put it right first.

Cookies and this website

This marketing site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The waiting-list form does not set an account. A short-lived, in-memory limit slows repeated submissions from one connection. That limit is not written into your signup.

The site is not aimed at children.
